It was my birthday in May and I literally couldn’t think of a thing I needed, I had just put a huge Sephora order in so didn’t need anything from there and didn’t really need any clothes. So instead I dragged my poor boyfriend to Mac (twice, other post will be later) as I still couldn’t find much after my first visit.
I got the Groundwork paintpot a few months ago and fell in love with it, it creates a great base for eyeshadow or even looked amazing on its own. So thought I would invest in a lighter shade for some other looks, this is my third one so far (Let’s Skate is my other one which is a glittery white). This time round I chose Layin’ Low £16, which is a creamy beige colour, it’s a little lighter than Groundwork but has more of a pink tone to it.
I also got the Pro longwear liner in Nice ‘n’ Spicy £15, I much prefer the Pro longwear liner to the normal mac liner as it’s so much more creamy and blends really well. Nice ‘n’ Spicy is a pink cinnamon colour which is a colour I am loving at the moment, I’m still in the 90’s lip trend and don’t see myself leaving any time soon. It also looks great with all most all of my nude/pink lipsticks as you can blend the outer edge with it.
I got a few more things, but going to space them all out as I like some of them so much for their own little post!
Have you tried either of the two products? What did you think of them?
