Sephora palette

I've never tried any of the Sephora's own range before, so their palettes were completely new to me. I must admit I only bought this for it's case at first.. I've never really been adventurous with colours so I was looking forward to trying them all out. There is a shimmer shades and matte shades in the palette, so are quite good to create a range of looks!

I was pretty excited for this to arrive, I don't have very many eyeshadow palettes for some reason so nice pretty new ones are pretty big for me. I think I may be the only beauty blogger without a Naked palette! I keep meaning to be more experimental with my eye makeup but just still haven't had the time to try it out, I will one day jump on the band wagon of these palettes!

I must admit I've been really enjoying using this palette, whether it was a simply smokey eye with gold tones or with a hint of colour in the corners. To be fair I work most days of the week so when I do get to do my make up I can't really go vibrant too much.. These colours are so pigmented though and you don't have to press hard to actually get some colour on your brush. The only one which doesn't stand out too much in the swatches is the Yellow colour at the top but it does show up a lot more on the eye and is great for a little highlight.

The Bold Bronze shade at the bottom left is my all time favourite, a gold/bronze is my go to shade for my eyes. I just find it so easy to make it look nice and quickly for work. I'm still getting used to the Prismatic Purple shade but I will get there! It took me ages to wear my Mac Cranberry and I can't get enough of it now.

The palette comes with a handy little brush, one is angled and one if the generic rounded eyeshadow brush, but they are really nice quality so are super handy in the palette. There is also a eyeliner pencil which has a good lasting power to it and also doesn't smudge above the eyes (does anyone else's eyeliners do this??). The eyeliner really finishes off any look you're going for, and is a handy little palette to carry around too.

I definitely need another Sephora palette, but that will have to wait until Christmas time as it's just so expensive to order from there!! What is your favourite palette you would recommend?

  1. I rarely ever wear bright colours so this is super daring to me! Looks lovely though I wish we could get sephora here without the extortionate shipping xx

  2. This looks beautiful! I love the bright colours. I'm not shy about a green or blue eye look so it's perfect for me!
I'd definitely recommend Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadows. I bought the world traveler palette which is gorgeous. But what I'm most impressed with is the quality of the shadows (better than UD in my opinion) lol

  6. This palette looks incredible, how cute is that packaging?! It's nice to see a palette that includes proper brushes too, instead of those awful little sponge things haha.
I've never looked into Sephora make-up but I might just have to after this! x
