NARS Steven Klein Blush Palette

I looove a Nars palette and after last years Virtual Domination palette I knew I had to get this one too, I mean how else do you get to try so many Nars blushes/bronzers for half the price? Nars are one of the top brands for me blush wise, their colour spectrum is beautiful and the quality is always amazing. Can't beat a good pigmented blush! Plus they always have the best packaging design and quality!

In this palette you get a bit more of a mixture than last year, there is 4 blushes, one bronzer and two contour shades. Can definitely tell contouring is taking over! As much as I loved Sex Fantasy in last years Virtual Domination palette, I really can't stop using Robotic. It's such a pretty pink tone and adds a beautiful softness to your face.

Read my review on Nars Steven Klein Blush Palette

There is something about the Laguna bronzer which just makes it so perfect, I use this for contouring and for an occasional flush of bronzer. It's not too orange toned so it doesn't make your skin muddy and it blends perfectly into your face. I've hit pan on my other Laguna bronzer so it's is always good to have a backup!

Robotic is definitely my most used blush out of this, it's such a pretty colour for Spring and so wearable. It's even taken over my love for Mac Dainty. It's a pretty girly pink for me, but I love it!

Luster is a really unusual shade for me, I own nothing like it! It looks amazing with a bold highlight and some bronzer. I wear this shade a lot more if I'm tanned as it just blends so well and gives you a beautiful glow!

Blasphemy and Dolce Vita are a lot more 'winter' shades, but that doesn't stop me wearing them regardless. They quite remind me of Nars Orgasm. Dolce Vita is an amazing colour for a night out, it's so bold!

Nars are one of my most favourite brands for blush, I really need to try out more of their ranges. You need to try their Satin Lip Pencils (review) too!

Did you manage to grab this palette?

Vichy Dermablend*

I used to be one of those people who had 1 foundation and it would be all I would use. Now I have around 7 that I mix between constantly depending on the day, and I still want more foundations. Girl can never have too many foundations. That's a quote, right? I have seen loads of people raving on about this foundation and how good it is for oily skin, and being an oily skin girl I immediately needed it! I'm always searching for my holy grail foundation.

Although this may not be my 'holy grail' it's definitely up there in my favourites, and I actually pretty much managed to colour match my NC15 skin with the 15 Opal tone. I must admit when I first swatched it the foundation had a really pink undertone, but when it came to using it a yellow undertone appeared. Weird, but I was so relieved as my skin has a much more yellow undertone.

The foundation can really cover your flaws with only one coat, which amazes me as nothing covers my scarring with one coat. It is still buildable though and looks even more flawless with a second coat, it's formula really reminds me of Kat Von D's foundation. I still use my Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer under my eyes and above my cheekbones for added definition though, nothing beats a highlighted cheekbone.

The powder is something I haven't tried anything like before, nor have I tried a loose powder. I did buy a Ben Nye one once but it was sooo dark I never used it, so I was excited to try this out. Ever since hearing about Kim K 'baking' her foundation I've wanted to give it a try. This is perfect for it to, with it not having a colour to it you can apply it all over, or like me just to your oily areas. This powder doesn't cake your foundation like most and really sets your foundation like a setting spray. It comes with a little puff, which isn't really for me (think of White Chicks) but I use it with a brush and I love it. I use it with all my other foundations too. My other go to foundations are Nars Sheer GlowEstee Lauder Double Wear Light and Bourjois Healthy Mix, and now this one is up there with them!

This foundation is £18 from Boots and the powder is £15 from Boots, they're not exactly high end or budget, but nicely in between!

Have you tried this foundation yet?

Religion Dress

See my outfit of the day post here

I've wanted a dress like this ever since seeing Aria wear it in Pretty Little Liars.. (maybe I should get out more and stop binge watching TV).. nah. Obviously her version is out of my price range, but I did come across this dress from Religion and I'm in looove.

I had to get a medium so I could fit my boobs in which means the dress is larger around my waist. Although the dress looks fine alone I had to break out my new Boohoo belt! I've been desperate for a western styled belt for a while and Boohoo have so many different designs in, this one was only £8.00 too!

I'm still no fashion blogger by no means, but I'm edging my way in. So apologies for my photos!

Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb

I love love love Lushs bright bath bombs, there is something so fun about having a bright, glittery bath. Even at 22 I feel like a little child, though when I was a child I wasn't cleaning the bath afterwards. That was the best time.

I've seen this one so many times on Instagram that I knew it was the next one I was going to try. After all the videos/photos of The Experimenter (review) I had high expectations for this one. Plus by how pretty and nice smelling it is you know it needs to be good. But because I wanted this so much I didn't even sniff it, I chucked it straight in the bag and paid for it. So when it was melting away in the bath I was surprised of it's peppermint smell! It was really refreshing though and was a nice change to the usual floral/citrus scents, plus it will be good for any redness you have. The bath looked amazing though, so definitely can't complain!

Ingredients:
Peppermint Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Cedarwood Oil, Popping Candy, Vetivert Oil

I absolutely loved this bath bomb, though I didn't like cleaning the glitter out the bath. My skins back to feeling nice and soft and I'm nice and relaxed for my lazy Sunday today! Hope you all have a nice last day of the weekend!

What is your favourite Lush bath bomb at the moment?

Jeffree Star Androgyny

Can I express how happy I am that I have this!? I only actually managed to grab it because Chapters of Kat told me it was in stock on Cocktail Cosmetics. Why is it so hard to grab all the amazing American products in the UK, even more so Jeffree Star and Kylie Jenners lipsticks.. they're always sold out! I do have a few liquid lipsicks already, which I mentioned a few months ago but you can't have enough as far as I'm concerned.

The formula of this is exactly how I imagined it to be and how much everyone had hyped it up! I have a Kat Von D lipstick and a few La Splash lipsticks which I love.. their formulas are pretty similar to Jeffree Stars but the staying power of this is amaazing.

I chose the shade Androgyny as I think it's the most wearable one for me, it's an amazing plum/mauve shade. I probably don't need any more plum shades, but I didn't actually have any that were a liquid lipstick until now! You can see from the swatch how opaque the colour is, which is exactly what you need in a liquid lipstick. They're not exactly the best thing to put multiple layers on, so you definitely only want one layer.

The nib for me at first was a little chunkier than I'm used to, so my first attempt was horrendous. My second attempt was so much better, I figured out how to line my lips evenly with it. I do think it lasts a lot better with a liner though than without, plus it helps you get a smoother line.

Liquid lipsticks can be quite drying so I always prep my lips with a lip scrub and balm first to make sure they're super soft. I've tried some brands that leave your lips looking dry and pruney and this isn't one. Though it's not as creamy as NYX it has a lovely texture and last hours, anything greasy will make it wear a lot quicker though.

Now I need Celebrity Skin and Doll Parts..

Have you tried any of these yet?

One by One Jewellery*

I love silver jewellery, I think it's such a delicate pretty tone to wear. Plus it goes with everything. It's my favourite type of jewellery to wear, I mean I do obviously have some statement jewellery but it's not exactly everyday type jewellery is it? I like a nice light necklace for everyday wear, especially for work. A nice simple flick of jewellery can really change your whole outfit and finish it off that little bit more.

I'm not sure what drew me to this one, but there is something about triangles I love at the moment so I knew this is the one I had to have! Though there was heaps of other ones I wanted, this was the one I would probably wear the most. The crystal detailing around the triangle just makes it stand out so much more and look so much more expensive, I instantly loved it. It's so delicate my giant claws can barely fasten it's tiny clasp though, good job my Mam is around in the mornings!

You have to appreciate the packaging too.. I mean how happy would you be to receive something so nicely wrapped? It makes it look so much more higher end than it is. I loved all the detailing of the bags and ribbons..I'm still hoarding the packaging now. You never know when you'll need it.. hmm.

The necklace is 925 sterling silver, so it definitely won't leave any marks on you like some cheaper jewellery do. It will also last so much longer and not tarnish like cheap silver jewellery. This actually only retails at £36 from One by One Jewellery, which is still so budget friendly! I wish I had actually came across this on Mothers Day as I think my Mam would have loved some of their range, I'll wait for her birthday!

This necklace would match so well with my Buckley London earrings I mentioned a while ago too. So I now have a perfect little silver set going on now, now I just need places to go!

One by One really do have some amazing pieces, so if you need a little extra for a gift or looking for some jewellery for someone I would definitely recommened them. I'm now lusting over their bangles!

What is your favourite jewellery brand? Or are you more high street?

The First Lush Product I Hated.. Big Solid Conditioner

Read more for my big solid conditioner
Read more for my big solid conditioner

Think this may be my first negative nancy post.. it's not all that often I find something I've wanted to try that has been, well, rubbish. I thought I was in for a treat when I ordered this, as I have always found with Lush. Everything I've tried so far I've absolutely loved and nearly always repurchased. Until I tried the 'big' solid conditioner. I had heard amazing things about the shampoo bars and their haircare range, so I had high hopes.

The big solid conditioner claims to add softness, body and retain moisture. It has seaweed, lime and lemon juice, coconut oil and vetivert oil in it. So assuming with all those oils in it would make my hair super smooth right? It actually did the complete opposite! My hair was so so dry and I cold barely get a brush through it!? The soap itself does smell lovely though, the coconut oil smell is my favourite!

The soap it's self is hard to get onto your hair too. I like to work my conditioner in but with this it's quite awkward. The soap is tough and doesn't lather at all to work into your hair. You can break bits off and work that in, but my hairs so thick I would be on for donkeys. Though, it does make your hair 'big'. The sea salt in it gave my hair loads of volume on the ends, but they were too dry to do anything with. I wanted to love this, I used it again and again (as you can see from the melted soap photo) to try and prove myself wrong! Just wasn't for me! Cry.

Have you ever tried this out before? What did you think?

Mac Brave

I've only started using nudes/pinks when it comes to lips after I discovered Velvet Teddy, before that I literally couldn't stop wearing reds/berry tones. I actually won this lipstick through Devoted to Pink's giveaway a few months a go and I couldn't wait to try it. My cousin has this and I loved stealing it, it's such an every day colour and so wearable.

Brave is described as a pink-beige with a sheen finish, it isn't identical to Velvet Teddy but it is quite similar. Velvet Teddy is a little more beige than this, and obviously a matte finish. This colour is perfect for Spring. I use this along side my Whirl liner, I line my whole lip with the liner and then apply the lipstick over the top. This makes it last so much longer too.

Left to Right: Dervish liner, Brave lipstick and Whirl liner.

Whirl is a little more brown toned to Dervish, but I do love a good 90's lip and Whirl makes that perfect. But if you like more of a match, Dervish is luuuush. Plus it matches heaps of lipsticks that I already hoard so it's handy.

Have you grabbed this lipstick yet?

Spring Clothing Wishlist

Spring Wishlist

Religion dress / Missguided white top / Topshop long sleeve shirt / Topshop jacket / Black New Look dress / Topshop blue jeans / AX Paris Peach Knitted Wrap Front Top / Embroidered Dip Dye Cami New Look / White Floral Print Bardot Top New Look

There is nothing I love more than buying clothes for Spring, it's a cross between my two favourites - warmth and pretty patterns! I live in the North East where it is rarely warm so a jacket is also a need of some form, and I'm loving khaki jackets after seeing it on mybubbaandme.com. I neeeed one.

Obviously the majority of my clothing is monochrome, nothing beats black ever. I'm trying to branch out of New Look too, I keep seeing everyone grabbing amazing pieces from other stores that I forget to visit. On the plus side, none of these break the bank... Now I just need it to be Sunday so I can go shopping! Maybe one day I'll even do a fashion post... ha!

What's on your Spring wishlist?
