Kylie Lip Kit in Posie K and 22

Read my review of the Kylie Lip Kits in Posie K and 22

I did tell myself I was going to resist buying these, I did last a few months of temptation.. But obviously the beauty blogger in me couldn't resist in the slightest. My purse did let out a little cry during but hey ho, I'm paying for it now.

I decided to grab Posie K and 22, I mostly wanted 22 cause I kept seeing Vix wear it on her snapchats and it's just an amazing colour. There is nothing I love more than a red lip, and this ticks all the boxes for me.

Each of these come with a matching liner, which for $29 (£19.98) is quite good value. The only thing that makes the price add up is the $14.95 (£10.30) shipping costs and any custom charges you may need to pay. I had to pay £12.99 in custom charges before I could pick it up from the depot (was gutted I had to wait 2 days)!! The shipping itself took around two and a half weeks, so not exactly quick like Sephora or Jeffree Star but they still made it!

Anyway back to the lipsticks themselves. Before I apply these, like any liquid lipstick, I have to use a scrub and balm. It's the only way to avoid your lips drying whilst wearing a liquid lip.

Posie K is dusty mauve pink shade.

22 is a burnt orange shade.

The liners
The lip liners are beautifully creamy and soft, they remind me a little of Mac Pro Longwears liners, but so much softer again. I tend to shade my whole lip in first just for a nice even colour. The only things I dislike about these is that I know they will be a pain to sharpen and that the lids aren't secure, mine slide off so easily.

The lipsticks
Now I couldn't fault the lipsticks, I love the little doe foot applicator, it's so easy to apply and get an even line with. The formula is amazing too, not that I think it is any different to other brands I've tried, but I love it all the same. It's a nice liquid that's not too watery and doesn't cake. Some liquid lips you can't layer as they crumble or go patchy, but these blend amazingly and have such an opaque colour.

Plus after all the things I love about them, nothing beats the packaging does it? She really has branded herself perfectly and I'm currently still hoarding the packaging two weeks later.. They're just too pretty to part with and how photogenic are these lipsticks?

I think I may treat myself to some of the metallic collection and Dolce K. But it will definitely be a treat coming all the way from the US ha! I made myself poor last payday! Jeffree Star is a lot easier to get a hold of and I love the formula of them. I currently have Scorpio and Androgyny, you need to add them to your collection!
