Lush Relax Box

See my review of the Lush Relax Gift Box here

It's no new news that I love Lush Cosmetics, I obviously must talk to the work girls about it a lot as one of them got me this for my Birthday (I know that was donkeys ago now)! This is my first Lush gift box, I've always wanted one but wasn't entirely sure if it was too sad to buy one for myself or not. Maybe I can just pretend it's a present next time! This gift box is the 'Relax' box £19.95, I think the name makes the theme of the box slightly obvious, ha! There is nothing I love more than the scent of lavender, which is the most used ingredient of this box..my faaave.

ABH Highlight Kit and Gerard Cosmetics Slay Spray

See my ABH Gleam Kit and Gerard Cosmetics Slay Spray review here

I've been after the ABH highlight palette for so so long, I put it off until I couldn't help myself any more. I saw far too many snapchats and instagrams of it to tempt me. A girl can never have too many highlighters right?? ..that's what I tell myself! I grabbed both of these from Beauty Bay, which is like heaven in a website if you're a beauty obsessive like me. There is still so many bits I'm desperate to grab but I've put myself on a little ban for now and these are enough to distract me temporarily.

Eau Thermale Avene Face Spray*

Read my Eau Thermale Avene Spray review here

This is a completely new concept to me, I do have a few facial sprays but they're mostly tea tree based to stop me getting spots or setting sprays for makeup. So I was a little intrigued to try this out and see what the benefits of it are. If we ever get some hot weather that lasts longer than 2 days I may get some more use out of it, as it's an amazing way to cool down your face. [little update] Speaking of hot days, we had the perfect heat wave last week to test this out properly (in the UK, seeing as I'm not going on holiday) so I can actually give you the full review!

Pink Parcel - July*

Read my Pink Parcel review here

I've seen the Pink Parcel reviews floating around for about a year now and always loved the concept of it. If you don't know, the Pink Parcel is a monthly delivery box which provides you with some cheer up bits - cosmetics, skincare, chocolate etc. and some 'girly' items that suit your requirements/needs. I think it's such a lovely idea to cheer yourself up a little each month, cause hell I'm the grumpiest person ever that week.

Read my Pink Parcel review here

It comes in a discreet box, so you can easily get it delivered to work without everyone and their granny knowing what's in it and it also fits into your letter box if you get it sent home. Obviously every one has different times of the months too, so the same date wouldn't suit all. They give you to choice of 3 different dates that are the closet for you; 10th, 20th or 28th of the month. So you don't get it until you need it, which is good for me cause I would have ate the chocolate well beforehand.

The box itself is £6.50 for your first month and £10.50 from there onwards, and if you think how much a box of tampons is anyway it's such a bargain. When you subscribe you choose whether you want a box of towels, tampons or both and then choose your brand and type needed. I chose Kotex who I haven't heard of before but was told they're the most popular! You then choose your dates, length of period and choose your delivery dates as above. It's that easy!

So in the box you get three mini boxes and a pouch, each box has something different in. The 'For You' box is full of treats which I'll mention later, 'For Night' box has pads for night time, 'For Later' has spare tampons to last you and 'For Now' is a little pouch of tampons and liners to pop into your handbag. I love the little pouch, if it falls out your bag you have nothing to worry about. I'm clumsy so everything falls out my bag, so this is now coming with me!

This month there was:

La Via Del Te Tisana Sweet Relax which is a herbal tea that's stocked in Harrods. It has 'relaxing' properties which help you unwind after a long day. I actually don't drink normal tea or coffee, so I'm glad it's a herbal one. Excited to try it out!

Bahlsen Choco Leibniz Biscuits that are a butter biscuit wrapped with chocolate. I'll be honest, these lasted around two seconds. I ate them as soon as the photos were taken, and they were soooo yummy. They're on my shopping list for next week!

The Vintage Cosmetics Rose Gold Slanted Tweezers are a brand I absolutely love for their tweezers, I already have a pair of floral tweezers which I swear by. Slanted tweezers are 100x easier to tweeze with than normal ones. You can usually grab these in TK Maxx too if you hit on lucky!

Lottie London Nail Polish I got the shade Nude which is a beaut creamy beige/pink shade. I really need new acrylics so I can try this on properly!

Bellapierre Gel Eyeliner this liner is the same formula as Marc Jacobs if you've ever grabbed that, it has an amazing creamy formula that glides perfectly. It has really good longevity too and doesn't smudge onto your top lid (like so many do to me, urgh).

Jelly Pong Pong Supercharged Eyeshadow - it's been so so long since I've had anything from Jelly Pong Pong, they have such lovely items but they're never easy to just grab. This is a eyeshadow duo with a super creamy gold and black shadow, plus the packaging is so cute!

Freeman Beauty Foot Lotion I got the lavender and mint one, which is actually one of my favourite smells ever so I was pretty chuffed! You get a few uses out of this little pack so it's so worth while. Plus it means my feet are sandal ready for this crazy heat wave!

Patisserie De Bain Hand Cream - Strawberry cupcake scented.. need I say anymore about this?! It actually smells amazing, it's now taken over my love for Soap and Glory's Hand Food and that says something. It doesn't leave a greasy residue on your skin and is really helping my horrid dry hands!

It's not often I'm impressed with a subscription box, I cancelled all my other boxes that got a bit boring.. but I really loved this months Pink Parcel. I don't know if it's because the box actually has a purpose as well as giving you goodies too! I wish I needed this every month as I love it, but I will definitely be grabbing ad-hoc parcels when I need them!

Have you tried this subscription box before?

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

Read my Too Faced Born This Way foundation review here

I do have quite an array of foundations, and I actually love them all, I don't think I could quite pin point a 100% favourite as they all have their amazing perks. But this one is at the very top of my most used foundations. It has quite a similar formula to Nars Sheer Glow but the coverage is 10x better, especially for my skin which has quite a few red marks from blemishes over the years. Even though it is a medium coverage it doesn't feel thick on your skin or when you're applying it. It has such a light texture that blends amazingly with my beauty blender (holy grail item right there).

Wedding Outfit for Summer

See my wedding outfit for Summer

I'm the one who spends weeks trying to pick an outfit and still end up wishing I had bought something else. But I did end up loving this outfit even with the slight wardrobe malfunction the night before (my cami top didn't fit over my boobs ha). After worrying about not having a top to wear I did remember I bought a body suit from Select Fashion ages ago and never worn it, thank god it was there!

Wunderbrow 1 Step Brow Gel

Read my Wunderbrow review here

Now Wunderbrow is something completely new to me, I haven't heard much about it or seen it pop up at all in the blogosphere. My godmother actually introduced this to me as she had read about it and wanted to try it out, so she bought it for me for my birthday so I can be the guinea pig and see what I think. I'm glad she did or I don't think I would have tried it otherwise as I'm so in love with my Anastasia Dip Brow, I do have a review of that from two years ago but it's to embarrassing to re-share. She did tell me how hard this was to get a hold of, but is available in Boots for £17.95.

Gemporia Sapphire & White Topaz Ring*

See my Gemporia sapphire ring review here

Pretty jewellery is always the way to my heart, especially sapphires (or black diamonds), there is just something about a crisp blue sapphire that I love. It's not my birthstone (emerald boo) but it's one of my favourite gemstones to wear. Probably cause it goes with my dark/monochrome fashion sense ha. As soon as I saw this style on the Gemporia website I knew this is the one I wanted, and they were kind enough to gift it to me!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Renaissance Palette

See my Anastasia Beverly Hills Renaissance palette review here

I actually ran a poll this week to see which post you's wanted to see, I was stuck between this and my Wunderbrow one cause I've been obsessed with both lately. But the Anastasia Beverly Hills Renaissance Palette won, it's pretty obvious why people aren't sick of seeing this yet. It is bea-u-tiful! I probably shouldn't have even bought this when it was first released, it was 3 days before payday and it was the choice between going out and buying this, but I couldn't resist.. it was too pretty and I had been lusting after it from seeing it on Norvina's snapchat (best person to follow for new products).

The packaging is amazing too, it comes in a pink flocked case with an enclosed mirror and double ended brush. The brush is really soft and good quality, but it's very rare that I ever use the brushes in palettes. I'm terrified to dirty the packaging, it's too pretty to get ruined!

Meet my July advertiser!

I feel like it's been a while since I've had advertisers, I sort of forgot to promote it then felt like it had been left too long. But the lovely Martha popped up and asked for a space! I only offer two packages so far as I'm still toying with how this whole idea works out! So anyhow, onto my lovely July advertiser!
