Skin Chemists Advanced Snail Duo Moisturiser*

Skin Chemists Snail Duo Moisturiser review

So it's now getting towards that nice sunny weather.. well on most days anyway. This is calling for some lighter moisturisers under my thicker foundations (double wear I see you) for the warmer weather. Having thick bases under a high coverage foundation always sends my skin crazy in the heat, or I look like a witch who's melting. Not a good look really.. So a light moisturiser really helps to keep my skin hydrated but not cakey.

Skin Chemists Snail Duo Moisturiser review

So this is where my Skin Chemists moisturisers take over, rather than their serums. I do love their serums though, I have to pry myself away from using them. But my skin needs Summer tlc rather than some Winter tlc! In the warmer months I need a light moisturised base that soaks in easily, serums tend to leave a layer over my skin so the foundation doesn't last as long in the heat. This is why I love love Skin Chemists moisturisers, mostly cause they never break me out, but they create a soft and smooth base for my foundation. There is nothing worse than a moisturiser which takes 20 minutes to soak in when you're in a rush!

So why 'Snail'?

It helps prevent and tackle fine lines, wrinkles and repair damaged skin. It repairs and nourishes your skin to make it plump and smooth, the Poly-Helixan (snail) is rich in anti-oxidants too!

I used to suffer with horrid breakouts every now and then but since I started using various Skin Chemists serums, moisturisers and oils I haven't! And all my scarring is starting to disappear. Though I'll probably always still be that person who puts make up on to put the bin out...

Have you tried any Skin Chemists yet?
