My Two Holy Grail Setting Sprays

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and Gerard Cosmetics Slay Spray

I literally couldn't cope without setting sprays, and no I'm not over exaggerating! My skin is super oily, so no matter how good my primer is I always need a setting spray to keep my foundation from going cakey and horrid! I remember once upon a time I used Fix+, which I now know isn't a setting spray, with my make up and it always went patchy in the afternoon. That was until I tried these two.

I tried the Gerard Cosmetics All Day Setting Spray first, and although I love it, it doesn't seem to last half as long as the Urban Decay one. I don't know if I get trigger happy cause it smells so nice or what but it lasts half the time of my UD spray. The Urban Decay Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray is a lot smaller than the GC one, but a little goes a long way! This has all just been redesigned, but I never got to try the previous one, but I'm in love with this one (pls don't change it UD)!

Obviously the GC one is Peach scented, which is amazing! But the Urban Decay one isn't so it has taken a little getting used to, it doesn't smell of anything bad though! It has quite a natural scent to it which I can't quite pin point what. The GC spray is more of a watery spray so you can feel it on your skin until it's soaked in, whereas the UD spray is more of a soft mist which doesn't need any settling time.

I love both of these, but if I was going to choose one over the longevity rather than nice peachy smells it's going to have to be the UD one. It has made my make up last so much longer on a night out without a touch up. Whereas with the GC spray I always needed to touch up my make up if I was going on a night out after having my face on all day!
