The best gift - Urban Decay Heat Palette

Urban Decay Heat Palette
I've wanted this palette since it was released, anything orange toned is straight up my street when it comes to eye make up. I was majorly jealous when I kept seeing this pop up on peoples Instagram and Twitters cause I wanted it so bad, but just couldn't afford it right now! But my amazing friends The Dena Edit and Emmy Writes About treat me to it by surprise! I don't think I've ever been so grateful and surprised by a gift before, they are literally the most thoughtful and sweetest pair!

I loved this palette as much as I thought I would to, and it's no surprise the blog girls knew I wanted it as I bleeted on about it for a month. I find orange/red toned eyeshadows so useable on my eyes, they're probably some of the colours I find the easiest to work with! The colours are all easily blendable and don't have much fall out. They're super pigmented and even the lightest tap picks up a good amount of product without needing to dig into the pan.

The brush that comes with the palette is also lovely! I have some palettes that come with such lousy brushes that I'm not even sure why they bothered. But this brush is so soft and picks up the product so well. This and the brush for my Renaissance palette have converted me! Although my Morphe brushes are still my favourite!

My favourite shade has to be Dirty Talk - it's a shimmery brick red shade and I love it on my lid! The only thing I think this palette is missing is a gold shimmer shade. I love an orange blend with a gold highlight on my lid, so I've had to reach for my Colourpop eye shadow to get that extra highlight to finish the look.
