2017 in reflection

When I first went into the New Year I wasn't quite sure how the year had went, I felt a little bit lacklustre having feeling like I went into 2018 with nothing. That's until I decided to look back at my year and look back at what I'd done and from there I realised how much I'd actually done. I'm quite a negative person, which I'm working on, so I always find it easier to look at the negative things rather than the positives. Posts like these really help remind myself and boost myself for 2018, I really hope it's as good as a year as the last.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam

The start of 2017 was a little slow starter for me, feeling a tad sorry for myself, but I then met the amazing Kirsty Leanne and Ashton Gibbs on Twitter of all places and it went up from there. After speaking for a short amount of time, me Ashton, Kirsty and Laura all decided to book a trip away to Amsterdam in April! We spent a long weekend all together and had an amazing trip we still laugh about now!

Turkey

Turkey

In July I went away to Turkey for the first time with one of my work girls for a well needed break in the Sun. It was my first time in Turkey and I was a little apprehensive but it really was the best. We had a crazy holiday which was meant to be quiet and then made some more amazing friends that we met from it!

Majorca

Majorca

After being away with Ashton and Kirsty, we decided we needed another break away in August! We booked ourselves a cheap break away in Majorca. We got drunk, ate and danced the weekend away (without Kirsty's passport) and had the best time. I realised again how much I loved these girls!

Turkey

Turkey #2

Shortly after Majorca I flew off again to Turkey to meet the girls I met when I was away the last time. We had the craziest week, got the best tans and had the biggest laughs. We went back to the same hotel as July where we knew everyone and it was just amazing.

Iceland

Iceland

In October I flew to Iceland with my Cousin, this country was so much better than I imagined. Obviously expensive but there was so many things to do in Iceland. We enjoyed all the day trips exploring the island and eating copious amounts of food on an evening. I would love to go back, it's such a pretty place.

New Job

I also started my new job at the end of last year! I absolutely loved the people I worked with, and they were like my family after over 6 years working with them, but I needed a change. I still miss everyone I worked with like crazy. But lets see where 2018 takes my career!

I hope 2018 can be filled with as amazing memories just like 2018!

Have you looked back onto your year? What are you most looking forward to this year?
