Salon Science Haircare

Salon Science Haircare

I'm forever trying out new haircare brands, I really don't like the supermarket brands as they tend to be heavy on your hair, so I love trying new ones I haven't heard of! Salon Science is a new brand to me, which is sold in Boots. They do a few different ranges depending on what your issue is, I tried the Celluluxe range for restoring volume and anti-ageing. Although I don't really need the anti-ageing side just yet, my hair has been lacking volume since Iceland - I think the salt has killed in. So these have definitely came in handy since being back.

I've been using this brand well over a month now, and although I haven't anything bad to say, I don't think the range has been life changing either. I have loved the Salon Science Swiss Apple Cellutensive Masque, as it's made my hair super soft since Iceland and also got rid of my horrid split ends (cause I keep booking holidays instead of getting my hair done).

The Celluluxe Shampoo and Celluluxe Conditioner smell nice and sweet and have quite a light consistency. They're not heavy on your scalp and wash out really easily. I don't however notice a huge difference in my hairs volume, even when applying my conditioner to my roots too. It has however helped my hair restore from it's blue lagoon death and kept it nice and moisturised.

The range isn't the cheapest, but it's quite similar to what I would usually pay for haircare. The shampoo and conditioners range between £12-14 each and the masque is roughly £16. I would recommend the masque however as I really loved it, though I may try their Hydrasorb masque next time as it seems a little more up my street!

Have you tried anything from Salon Science before? Or is there any brands you would recommend?
