My 7 Day Magnitone Challenge

I've always wanted to try a Magnitone Lucid but I couldn't justify the price if it didn't work for me. But the lovely people at Magnitone gave me a hefty code and I got a great bargain. I'm been excitingly waiting for the post for the past two days waiting for it to come cause I was so looking forward to using it. I'm not quite sure what cleanser to use with this, so I've just decided to keep using my Liz Earle cleanser as my skin seems to like it. I'm going to do a before and after and a day by day review to give you my daily thoughts on it.

Day 1

My skins quite bad at the moment and I have no idea why so this has came at a perfect time for me! I used this with my Liz Earle cleanser straight onto the brush and used the sensitive setting moving it each time it bleeped (so handy as I wouldn't know how long to do it for). My skin feels quite tight and smooth, I just hope my blemishes go down too!

Day 2

A new blemish appeared today, but I have read that this can happen in the first few days of using it, I'm hoping it will go down after using it again tomorrow.

Day 3

I went paint balling today with my make up on so I'm hoping I haven't caused my skin to breakout, or at least hope this will prevent it! My skin is feeling ten times smoother though and my make up has been going on so nice the past few days. I still have a few spots but they're tiny and not as red as usual.

Day 4

My skins feeling so much clearer and my red marks have gone down a lot, which I'm really glad of cause they're what make me the most self conscious. I'm still getting more blemishes but they're tiny and hardly not corals.

Day 5

My face feel so smooth now and my make up goes on so much more easily. My pores on my nose have also shrunk and I have no black heads, woo.

Day 6

My skin really suffers in winter so I'm glad this is still going strong with my face. No new blemishes today so hoping it's now got used to the brush! I'm going to have to research into keeping it clean and bacteria free now.

Day 7

I think this has really helped reduce my scars on my skin, all the redness has went down so much and making me feel that little bit less self concious. I hope that by keeping using it my skin will keep getting better. Currently going through my monthly break out but I don't think they are even noticeable. The brush has kept them down so much compared to what they would be.

So there is my 7 day challenge! I've really enjoyed getting the chance to get to use this product and I'm going to continue to keep using it as I think it is helping a lot. I just think I need a bit more use of it to get my skin used to it more. I may also try out a different cleanser and see if it will help anymore! If you are like me and you struggle mildly with blemishes I think this is great and will help a lot! I do think it would iritate acne skin though.

Have you tried this product or anything like it? What did you think of it?

  1. I've been thinking about trying this for ages but I also can't really afford it this time of year! Hopefully going to ask my bf to get me one for Christmas as scars are the one thing that really bother me about my skin :( xxxx

    1. Yeah i was always dubious of paying and it not working but bit the bullet and bought it. Hopefully he can get you one for Christmas! Xx

  2. I've been tempted to buy a Magnitone as well but I've heard so many skin specialist say these brushes are actually damaging to our skin in the long run, I'm not quite sure yet. Glad to hear you're enjoying it, though. :)

    1. I can imagine they could be if you used it wrong or too rough. I think lightly brushing it couldng be too bad though as it'll be the same as exfoliating x

  3. Oooh this looks great!
