My Make Up - Before & After

Every time I do a make up post I never seem to cover my full make up routine, so I thought I would share! Please ignore my lack of eyebrows and horrendous skin (ha).

First off the create the base I want I use Embryolisse moisturiser as a primer, I've loved this product ever since I purchased it a few months ago. It keeps my make up in place for over 12 hours. I also cleanse and tone my face every morning, currently I'm using L'Oreal but only for a few far so good.

Next I use my favourite foundation which is Estee Lauder Double Wear, this has been my holy grail foundation for well over a year. I've tried multiple other foundations and they just haven't cut it compared to this. I apply it using a Beauty Blender to get a blended and even finish. It covers the majority of my redness, especially on my chin and jaw area.

Then its time for brows (which I now look strange without), my natural eyebrows aren't what they used to be. With all the over plucking since I was younger they just don't grow properly any more and are so patchy :(. To fill and accentuate my brows I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade and Brow Duo. The gel is amazing to get the perfect shape brow you want and to fill in all the patchy areas.

I used L'Oreal Touche Magnifique to highlight areas I want to contour e.g. above my cheekbones, jawline and above my brows. I love this concealer as it's so light and doesn't cake over my foundation, it's such a good highlight to accentuate areas. I also use Mac Studio Finish concealer in NC15 under my eyes and over any blemishes I might have.

I then do my eye make up with whatever I fancy that day, today I used my The Balm Nude'tude palette (which I reviewed here), Maybelline Lasting Drama liner and Mac Extreme Dimension mascara. Using all of these is great for creating quick looks and also has a create choice of colours for any night time looks too.

Next is contouring, I first use my Make Up Academy bronzer under my cheekbones to create more definition. Then I use Mac Buff to contour to the side of my brows and around the top of my forehead, this is to make my face appear less round.

Then last of all is my lips (and my bushy hair)! I used Mac Hang-Up lipstick with Hald-Red liner, I love this time of year to be able to wear a red/purple lipstick any time!
