Does anyone else notice one of their products becoming empty so you buy a replacement then it never seems to empty?? Well this is what I did with all my Liz Earle goodies, but not that I regret replacing them as there was a few more things I've had a chance to try. I've loved her hot cloth cleanser for well over a year now, it just works so well with my skin type and makes it feel clean and fresh!
I bought all of these from QVC, which I've never actually ordered from before but a lady at work swears by them so I thought I'd give it a go! They also do sets of the products a lot cheaper than I have found anywhere else yet. I decided to get the 3 Piece Clear Skin Collection, I chose this over the others as I'm trying to find a gentle exfoliator that does the job as well as not causing me to break out. Seeing as my other Liz Earle products have been perfect for my skin I thought her cleanser could join that line!
So in this set you receive a Cleanse & Polish (100ml), Deep Cleansing Mask (75ml), Gentle Exfoliator (50ml), 2 sponges and 2 huge muslin cloths. So you do get a good varied amount in here and some extra muslin cloths definitely won't go a miss with me! Now the sponges are a newbie for me, I didn't really have a clue what to do with them when I got them. But they're great for removing the mask/exfoliator and even the Cleanse & Polish, but you have to make sure you rinse them out properly though or they won't last long!
I have oily combination skin and use my Cleanse & Polish with my Magnitone brush every night and it leaves my skin feeling really clean! I also have sensitive skin so it doesn't break me out or cause me to have even more spots (phew), I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a light cleanser.
I've been using the Glamglow mask since I got back from New York and I've been loving it, but I have been using this in between Glamglow so I can prolong it. It doesn't have a strong scent to it, so again if you're sensitive it's great, and it also doesn't leave your skin feeling dry or too tight after using it eventhough it does have a mattifying finish to it. It also hasn't made me break out (wooo).
And last of all the exfoliator! I've been desperate to find a exfoliator which isn't too harsh on my face, I've found all the tea tree ones to be totally brutal and too strong! So I thought I would give this a go, it doesn't seem to have a scent at all to me which is good! It also isn't harsh when massaging into your face, you can feel it doing what it needs to without scrubbing away all the goodness too. I love how nice my skin feels after using this, I am only using it a few times a week though as I don't want to cause my skin too much agro..
All in all I couldn't recommend this set more, especially if you suffer from spot prone skin like me. I've found since using any of Liz Earles range my skin is noticeably clearer, I obviously still get the odd break out but they're a lot more rare now than they used to be! And if any pesky spot every appears Lush Grease Lightning has it gone in a day anyway!
