Vita Liberata Body Blur

Read my review of Vita Liberata Body Blur fake tan

I'm pretty much a ghost all year round, even with a tan I only qualify to be white and not see through. But I love having a tan so much, it's a cruel world ha. I don't know why but I feel so much better tanned, especially at this time of year when dresses are wearable without tights (somedays anyway). I do dabble with fake tan every now and then, but I have to have the effort in me. It's usually when I'm going on a night out or a special occasion like the races. If I want a lazy tan that lasts over a week I'll use the St Tropez In Shower Cream (review here), but that doesn't help matters when it's last minute plans!

So that's where a good instant tan comes in! Gone are the days I glaze myself in Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs, my god the bright orange photos from when I was 17... Lets not go there, ever. I like a tan that looks natural and doesn't run when it rains! Before this I used a Rimmel instant tan, which wasn't the best but it did the job a little. This has such a better formula, it's not a mousse but it's also not a watery liquid either. It has the texture of a foundation and glides on so evenly. You can apply this using a foundation brush or a mitt, I chose the mitt only because I don't want to use my foundation brush everywhere. Geeeeerms.

Yes I know I'm white! Why aren't I always the colour on the right? (Didn't mean to rhyme).

This doesn't leave any horrible dry patches or go streaky, every other tan I use streaks cause I'm rubbish at applying it! But I just love the colour, it gives your skin such a healthy glow and it doesn't even look like you're wearing fake tan! I have really dark hair, so when I wear fake tan it leaves awful dots on my legs, but this blurs them all out. The formula weirdly reminds me of my La Roche-Posay BB Blur foundation for that reason ha!

This retails at £29.50, so it is definitely not the cheapest on the market but if you need a good fake tan or are a fake tan lover I would grab it. Plus it's available in Boots so you can collect points/spend them! Perks. It's more worthwhile buying a decent one that a rubbish one! I'm really intrigued by their 2-3 week tan now!

What is your favourite fake tan?
