Colourpop Goodies Round 2

It wasn't too long ago I tried out my first two Colourpop items, and I pretty much fell in love with them. So it was only a matter of time before I made another order, this time I used a mail forwarding service rather than paying the extortionate international shipping fees. The wait killed me though as I was so excited to try out the eyeshadows and highlights I've heard everyone rave about! But hey, at least the wait was all worth it in the end!

I do wish I had bought a bit more now I'm seeing everyone ordering heaps in bulk, if I had known how cheap it was going to be to ship with the forwarding service I definitely would have! Next time... again! This time round I used Shipto to order, which was so straight forward and easy. I did go for the economy delivery (which is the longest one, but cheapest) and it felt like forever, but was only around two weeks. For a total shipping cost of $18 I am really not complaining, especially seeing as that includes my images of the inside of the package, extra insurance and even a fragile sticker (slightly paranoid)! I did also get a customs fee of £12, which I was a little gutted about but at least my shipping saved me a little.

So anyway, I grabbed..

LaLa Eyeshadow $5 - The is literally the most pigmented metallic eyeshadow I've tried, it looks amazing on it's own or as a top layer of another colour. It's a true rose gold shade and is super super creamy (they all almost feel like they're damp)!

Fantasy Pressed Pigment $5 - This colour is so so out of my comfort zone but once I spotted it I knew I needed it. It's an amazingly bright violet purple and is just too nice. I've been applying this with my fingers as you get a better shade, but if you want just a light splash of it a brush collects the colour and glitter amazingly too. I also haven't experienced any fall out from this either, impressed!

Monster Highlight $8 - I was quite stuck for choice for what highlight I wanted, I have so so many gold highlights so I felt like I had to delve out a little bit more and try something different. Monster is a light pink chrome highlight, it has so many beautiful undertones that look amazing under different lights (wish I had a way to show you). This again has the straaange wet texture so it doesn't transfer onto a brush as well as it does your fingers, but dabbing it with my finger tips doesn't bother me as I love the shade!

Kween Ultra Metallic Lip $6 - Can you believe it's only $8?! Mad! I've always wanted to try a metallic lipstick ever since Kylie Jenner released her versions, but I've been trying my best not to splurge! This shade reminded me slightly of Reign so that was the only persuasion I needed. The formula is a little more dry than I expected, so you don't get an opaque colour on the first swipe, but it's a build-able formula and doesn't dry your lips out. It can also be used on top of a shade to add a speck of gold.

Solow Ultra Matte Lip $6 - Solow is a light pink-nude shade, I've been after a liquid lipstick shade like this since spring and couldn't find one I quite loved. As soon as I saw this I knew I needed it, it's the perfect everyday shade! It's not a 'my lips but better shade' it is a natural shade, but different enough to be noticeable. I absolutely love it. Only downside of mine is that it's missing it's stopper, but I contacted Colourpop and they're already sending me a new one out. Unfortunately, to my mail forwarding company.. so I'm going to have to pay and get it across here again (damnit). But it is an amazing liquid lip to say the least and lasts all day!

I love all the bits I grabbed and really can't wait to make another order! Already totalling up what I want to order from the US next, mostly things I know I won't be able to grab when I'm there in December.. Colourpop, Kylie Cosmetics soo much I want!

Have you tried out Colourpop before?
