RCMA Setting Powder

RCMA Setting Powder

I literally couldn't cope without a setting powder, my make up would probably slide off by lunch time even with a setting spray. Setting powders really do work wonders with your make up, I use one literally every day. I previously used Vichy, which I loved but it isn't the cheapest or biggest you can get for the price. This was actually recommended to me by Anoushka, and I'm so glad I grabbed it.

RCMA Setting Powder

This powder retails for £13.00 on Beauty Bay and you get a hefty 3 oz in the tub rather than the usual 30 odd grams, so it does last a hell of a lot longer. I've had this roughly around 3 months now and use it everyday, and it's only used up around a few cm down!

I like transparent powders as I can use them all year round, whether I'm tanned or ghostly white. I like that they don't take much blending or thinking about. The RCMA powders do come in different shades on Beauty Bay, but most have shimmer in. Which I can imagine would look fab if you had an amazing tan, that will have to wait for my next holiday!

Anyway, how I use this! I apply this using a beauty blender, although not the same one I'd use for my foundation. I find it easier to apply with a sponge as you can bake it really easily without making my foundation base too powdery. I leave this on whilst I do my brows/eye make up and dust off with my Spectrum powder brush, which I swear by - it's so fluffy! With this powder my make up can last all day, it even keeps my make up in place on holiday - and that is something you definitely need!
