Budget Glamglow dupe - L'Oreal Pure Clay Mask

L'Oreal Pure Clay Mask

Don't get me wrong, I love high end skincare, but unfortunately my bank balance doesn't always agree. When you're trying to save, the last thing you need to do is spend twice the amount on something you don't need to. Throwback a year or so, I wouldn't have second guessed myself when buying expensive make up/skincare, but it isn't always needed. You sometimes get products which are pretty on par or even better than the higher end products, I use so much more high street foundation now than I used to and I prefer them so much more. But again, nothing does beat a new Urban Decay Naked palette or the Urban Decay Setting Spray!

I'd been meaning to try the L'Oreal Clay Mask forever and never got around to it, but typically in the Superdrug queue it was there to taunt me to buy, and it was on offer too so win win. I've swore by the Glamglow mask in forever, as I love how clear it left my skin feeling and the face you could see what it stripped from your pores. This mask does exactly that for pretty much 1/3 of the price.

I always apply my masks with a brush, especially clay ones as I helps it spread evenly on my skin and prevent adding germs. It's so easy to break out after applying a face mask, so this always helps this from happening. When I used my trusty Glamglow I would use it a few times a week and it kept my skin bright and clear. I've been doing exactly this with the Pure Clay Detox Mask and my skins back and being clear and pore free.

Once you can see all the oil and dirt being dragged out your pores, you can wipe it off. You can't leave this mask on for too long as it starts to get tight, so I wash it off using my Liz Earle Cleansing Sponges. I find using the sponges so much easier to remove the product, the amount of time I thought I'd wiped my mask off then wander downstairs with a grey stripe down my jaw!

I definitely need to grab the glow mask next time, it sounds so familiar to my Thirsty Mud Mask I used for so long. It kept my skin soo hydrated in the winter and I quite miss it!

Have you tried this mask yet?
